Each member of the Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle contributes $1,100 annually.
Of this amount, $1,000 goes for grants and $100 to support our operating expenses. All contributions are fully tax deductible. Additional gifts and net income are added directly to our annual grant pool.
Our assets are managed and invested by the Baltimore Community Foundation as a donor-advised fund. From our start in 2001, we have provided more than $1.6 million in grants to improve life for women and their children in our region.
We operate on a calendar year. Grants are generally awarded in June of each year.
