Women's Giving Circle to Provide School Uniforms for Needy Students

Thanks to an anonymous member of The Baltimore Women's Giving Circle (BWGC) of the Baltimore Community Foundation, the Baltimore City Public Schools' uniform fund will have $10,000 more to outfit needy children with required school uniforms this fall.

My Sister’s Circle’s Heather Harvison describes how she mentors middle school girls in Baltimore.

My Sister’s Circle, a Circle grantee, was highlighted on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams as a part of the Making a Difference series; the segment also aired on the Today Show. “Thanks to My Sister’s Circle in Baltimore, Maryland, inner city middle school girls who have the drive to succeed in school get a helping hand from mentors,” reported NBC’s Amy Robach.
