How to Use the new BWGC Website

It is as simple as 1.2.3.

Logging in to the new website is as simple as 1,2,3. There is a wealth of information about our grantees, Circle events, advocacy information and other community engagement on the HOMEPAGE. Logging in gives you access to members only information, including members contact information, locations and contacts for events, the grants portal for grant readers, committee sign up, and the Circle library.

STEP 1

Type www.thebwgc.org in your browser. This will open to the HOMEPAGE.

STEP 2

On the upper right-hand side of the HOMEPAGE you will see a red button labelled “MY CIRCLE”. Click My Circle to begin log in.

STEP 3

Clicking on My Circle will take you to your login page. You will be asked for your username. Your username is your email address. Once you have typed in your email address, you will need a password. Click “Forgot my password” located under the space for your password. Clicking “Forgot my password” will take you to a page that will allow you to set your own password. Follow the instructions on that page. Once you set and confirm your password, you will be able to use that password to log in to the website in the future.

Please visit the website at your leisure. The leadership has put a lot of time into developing a tool to keep you informed and share the scope of our work and tell the stories of those touched by your support.

*If you have a problem setting your password or any other question as you explore the website, please email webmaster@thebwgc.org and a member of the website team will get back to you.

Frequently Asked Questions about the BWGC Website? FAQ

After you have completed steps one through three to secure your password, you have access to information available to members only.  You will be greeted by name when you log in.

Q.  How do I find contact information for a member of the Circle?

A.    The page that opens when you log in is your DASHBOARD. There are two ways to access member information. (1) Just above your name on your dashboard there is a toolbar. Membership Directory is the first item on the toolbar. Click it there to open the Directory.  (2) You may also scroll to the bottom of the dashboard. There are three boxes. The blue box provides access to the Directory. Members are listed alphabetically.

Q.   How do I learn about upcoming events?

A.    Circle events are listed on the left-hand side of the homepage. To “Learn More” about events, including location and contact information, you need to be logged in to access the members only side of the website. Once you are logged in, the list on the left displays upcoming events. Clicking “CALENDAR” on the toolbar or “More Events” at the bottom of the list will display events currently on the calendar for the year.

Q. How do I view all current and find past grantees?

A.    All grantees receiving BWGC funding since 2002 are listed with a description on the website. On the HOMEPAGE  navigation bar click “IMPACT”. Current grantees are listed under that tab.  To find past grantees, click “Past Grantees” and enter the name of the grantee in the search window on the right-hand side of the page. You may also search by year using this function.

Q.  How do I find information about what’s going on in the Circle?

A.    Just go to www.thebwgc.org . The HOMEPAGE provides access to information about the Circle and our mission, grantees we have funded since 2002, stories about our grantees, Circle Forum events, Circle Advocacy information, a brief statement from a Circle member about their reasons for joining, and access to the Circle Facebook posts.

We hope that you will visit  the BWGC website often in order to stay informed about what is going on with the Circle and our grantees. You will find a copy of this guide in the Circle Library.
