Most of the Women’s Housing Coalition’s residents don't know how to use the Internet effectively. Many don't have electronic devices or high-speed Internet access, and residents struggle in many ways because of that lack of access. WHC is working to get electronic devices for its residents and to get their buildings wired for high-speed Internet.
BWGC funds will be used to pay an instructor to teach residents how to use technology and to cover the costs of the high-speed Internet service in WHC buildings for 12 months.
