By collecting donations of new and gently-used supplies, The Baltimore Teacher Supply Swap (BTSS) makes classroom supplies available to Baltimore City teachers through their Free Store and Supply Mobile programs. On average, Baltimore City teachers spend $600 of their own paycheck to address the shortfall in vital supplies, including chalk, pencils, and notebooks. For $45/ year, a teacher can become a member of BTSS. With unlimited visits and up to five bags per visit, teachers can obtain much-needed supplies for their classroom.
Funding from The Baltimore Women's Giving Circle will go toward general operating expenses.
