Mission of Mercy provides free health care, dental care, and prescription medicines to the uninsured or underinsured working poor at its mobile clinics throughout Maryland. The clinic works with area hospitals to obtain free lab and X-ray services, and consultations for its patients. One mobile clinic comes to the Reisterstown area of Baltimore County two days each month. Each year this clinic serves more than 400 women and children, 95 percent of whom have no insurance.
The Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle grant helped support staff costs, medications and insurance for MOM’s Reisterstown mobile clinic.
