Through transportation, AIM addresses food insecurity, health inequity, and social isolation with regular, predictable group shuttles, and on-request rides to grocery, medical, and entertainment/social destinations as well as Senior Legal Services & AARP offices. AIM also acts as a referral source for members seeking assistance with problems ranging from tax preparation, and benefits applications to residence and employment questions.
AIM will use its BWGC grant to cover general costs of transportation including of drivers salaries, gas, insurance, and vehicle maintenance.
