College Readiness Program

To help fund the salary of a counselor working with the program's 40 Baltimore City School students in grades 10-12. The students, most of whom are female, would be the first in their family to attend college. As sophomores, the attend a twice weekly training program for 12 weeks to learn leadership, advocacy, and organizing skills. In junior and senior years, they receive college counseling, mentoring, help with preparation for achievement tests, and a three-week college readiness camp.
