Journey To Independence & Self-Sufficiency For Homeless Women And Children

To help Baltimore Outreach Services continue to provide transitional and permanent housing referrals, and safe emergency shelter for approximately 250 homeless women and their children annually. The women receive physical and mental health care, parenting classes, life skills training, job training and employment assistance. The organization also provides after-school programs and other services for the children. Women stay at Baltimore Outreach Services for an average of four months, before moving on to more permanent independent housing.
