PIVOT

Launched in 2019 with the support from Johns Hopkins Innovation Lab, Pivot's program is specifically geared to women in Baltimore City who need support during reentry after incarceration. About 12 participants are recruited from post-prison halfway housing and the NW Career Center. Each person is assigned a mentor to strengthen and broaden her network. Pivot' community-oriented approach centers around partnerships offering job readiness, communications, parenting skills and financial literacy.

The Baltimore Women's Giving Circle grant will support general operations and more specifically will the salary of a full-time social worker.
