St. Francis Neighborhood Center programs and services include the after-school Power Project, which serves children aged 5-15 years old. Power Project provides after-school academic tutoring, instruction in art and life skills and mentoring for 75 children four days each week. Each child has an individualized plan that includes both short-term and long-term goals.
The Baltimore Women's Giving Circle grant will enable the Power Project to enhance its after-school curriculum by purchasing additional supplies and providing transportation from more schools to the St. Francis Neighborhood Center.
