Tahirih Justice Center assists clients—all of whom are eligible for humanitarian protections under U.S. law—to navigate the immigration system, achieve stable legal status, and access resources to meet their basic needs. By amplifying the voices of survivors seeking justice in communities, courts, and Congress, Tahirih creates a world where all may enjoy equality and live in safety and with dignity.
BWGC's grant will be used to offset the costs of helping clients negotiate the legal system and meeting clients' immediate needs for safety, housing, food, trauma-informed counseling and job training.
