Girls in Fearless Transition

The project is modeled on a former federally funded program that provided a positive rather than a punitive response to past behaviors. Through the use of a prescribed curriculum and volunteer mentors, the G.I.F.T. program encourages girls ages 12-17 to view themselves as potential leaders, a core goal of Girl Scout programs nationwide. GSCM is the only provider in the Baltimore court system delivering such gender-specific life skills training.

BWGC Funds will support training materials and GSCM staff.
